Meet CHARLIE.

Also known to the big wide world 

as Miss Charley Walton. 

Charley has grown up in Burleigh on the sunny 
Gold Coast and is a multi talented individual. 
Knowing Charley as we grew up through school together, 
being the athlete she was, she has now grown up 
to develop a wide known name for herself 
in numerous areas of greatness.

With her job title now stretching a fair way long,

Charley has been up to cool stuff in the last couple of years.

From being a host at Komune Coolangatta, to then DJing on the same bill as Flume, shooting for Monster Children and Valley Eyewhere then recently shooting in her own dope style as she has stuck out from the crowd. 

Now we get to know CHARLIE as Charley.

I recently had a chat with her to see what she was up to, what some of the best moments she has had as a DJ now/Icon and what's next to come along with a few sneaky style questions. 

Hannah: Hello Charley! How have you been?

Charley: Hey Hannah, I have been splendid thanks. Just organizing all my shit for the end of year off to the big America for December and January, Nothing like a white Christmas away.

H: That's lovely, How exciting. But, first things first, how has your DJing being going and how did you start out?

C: Djing has been going very well still learning every day but it has been busy busy and going really well, Oh shit starting off djing i was 17 sneaking around clubs geting gigs left and right playing the top 40 or any songs my good friend Tom had. I was brought into the Djing world by a Group called "Sorry were not hipsters" which was formed by two guys "Tom&Jarry Djs" That group is now joined by many other djs now.. Fuck I was hopeless at 17, My first gig was at Komune Beach Resorts which than i went into a resdensey there still play there today, i went onto playing Sunday Safari where my name was on the poster with Flume which that is where i got all my next up coming gigs from and resdentsey at LALA LAND in byron bay. i picked up playing LOT104 in the Sunshine coast and doing many other parties.

H: you've come along way from then. What are some of the highlights that have come from Djing?

C: Fuck yeah i have im now legally alowed in clubs and practice always makes perfect, oh the highlights. Fuck just learning everybodys different ways to play and getting the knowlege of whos on drugs and whos not in the crowd hahaha.

H: Nice, that's awesome. You sound like your enjoying yourself working with Music. On the fashion side, what have you been doing there? You've got dope style but i understand you've been working in different areas? e.g. Monster Children/Valley Eyewear and Bammf, Etc.

C: Oh shit, My fashion well a guy called Sam would probally kill me and say he showed me the brands and the style of dressing the way i do which is just street style and kinda like a boy but i always balence it out with doing my make up really good so im still a girl, But yeah i have worked with other brands and have done some modeling wouldnt say i take it seriously cause i hate modeling but i have worked with Monster Children/Valley Eyewear and Bammf/Scott James and many others. Just what i go for with my fashion is fucking no simple like every chick on the goldcoast and all my Instergramers love it.

H: You've definitely been keeping busy. So what's next for you now? Ready to chill or big plans? What can we expect and from where?

C: Well for me now, Im wanting to chill but my mind and body wants me to do bigger and better things, Im off to America in January as i said and i really wanna go over there to see what the fuck is going on over there and get an idea to bring back here, I really want to get a Manager and start promoting myself more with the hole creative side. You can expect me in the future to be doing god only knows hopefully something fucking rad...
