This is THE INITIATIVE.

"The Initiative is about bringing free spirited people together from illustrators, bands ,surfers,skaters, etc. Its a clothing line that believes in art and bringing the oldschool feeling back of love and freedom. its inspired by the movie lords dog dogtown and music from the 60;s 70's 80's and 90's.

The initiative is for the person that doesn't give a fuck but still respects life, its for the person who loves art. Its for the person who feels free and knows there self worth, In conclusion its about knowing who you are and letting yourself make your own decisions and not letting society overrule you."

This is David Brando's newest project and this is in his own words what he says THE INITIATIVE is about.
David designs all tee's himself and draws them by hand.
With his field being in fashion photography he brings all his talents into one with some cool kids, along with Jake Williams and Christie Nicole who have blessed our pages previously, and he has his first group shoot for THE 'badass' INITIATIVE.

PIRATES ALIVE, ELSE WHERE AND A NEW EP!

Hey y'all!

All you Gold Coast cats, cancel your plans for tonight, call in sick to work (you have time) or make a plan to get your ass's to ELSEWHERE,

where else would you rather be? 

TONIGHT the lovely PIRATES ALIVE will be launching their second EP 'Wasted Souls'.

They have some epic bands also supporting them Pilots and

 The Dark Hawks. 

As you can see, just in time for their EP launch, they have also a shit load of new merch including their standard EP on CD as well as vinyls and board wax.

Get down and support the boys just before they take off for their Sydney gigs next week.

But don't worry they'll be blessing these pages again quite soon.

SOUNDS OF THE SUBRUBS, SPACE 44 AND OF COURSE LIFE WITHOUT ANDY

Thanks to the rad guys from SPACE 44,

we now have 'Sounds of the Suburbs'.

It was a beautiful day in the depths of Sydney's south in Cronulla on Sunday just in time for a small festival taking place at SPACE 44 and Wilbar Lane.

A day and evening filled with dope bands and great art, a large amount of effort was put into both sides.

And there was definitely a fair few cools cats cutting around.

With Bleeding Knees Club, Goons of Doom, The Griswolds, Black Zero's and Bloods (who had their last show for the year!) being some of my favourites it made the journey down worth the while. 

With many photographers capturing the event (as well as a film from HWC on the way) it's been hard to find my favourite bunch.
