KELLY HAMMOND'S "SPACE CADET"

"Space Cadet"
This is one of the recent works from the brilliant Kelly Rose Photography.
She has been featured many times before with her array of always delightful work and we are happy to have her on back on the hannahWAKE Collective pages.
These quirky, tasteful and beautifully balanced images are always presented nicely to showcase a look or story that personally I am always excited to see.
However Kelly does lots of different kind of work; fashion, music, products, lifestyle and more.
Check out her personal works at kellyrosephotography.com.

TONY ABBOTT AND KEVIN RUDD'S NEW MUSIC VIDEO

Round and round is the new music video shot for "Super Best Friends".
The geniuses these guys are takes exposure to the next level.
In their recent release they have featured quite a lot of famous Australian pollies, news reporters, cameramen and important people in between, doing some weird and quirky stuff.
Watching these people is cringing and hilarious but in the end still quite weird.
How "Super Best Friends" have taken their quite good song and created so much exposure with it whether you like the clip or not, (find it hilarious, weird, disgracefull, stupid) such a simple idea that any pollie would want to do (because they never do) would love to be apart of a film clip that may go viral and to create a tremendous amount of exposure to any one who features in these kind of collaborations.
I do disagree with the fact of at the end of the day they still make the unfortunate decisions they do even if we see our pollies, government and other hierarchies be human and do things that make them seem light hearted and hilarious, don't be fooled.
The film clip on the other hand is great though; clever and witty.
Go "Super Best Friends", kudos you have everyone talking.

CATIE ALLEN'S "1994"

"1994"
A shoot that remises over the 90's era and spills a modern twist. The girls in these images bring the fun vibes and a bad ass attitude that take us back to our younger years.
Fluro tie died clothing though these are the cheap ones that you'd die yourself, a new take on a past era, cuts and patterned revamped. Smiley faces, coloured hair, dark make up, chokers, black docs, and a dash of cameo, the works. a popular style as it I guess is a reminder of a better time.
This is the release of this shoot and we're happy to have her. With Catie Allen as art director and photographer she leads her team strong; filmer Jay Button, stylist "Crave Yard Store", makeup artist Tayla Wilkins and models Emily Gurr, Maddison Payne and Shay Maclean.

WORST BAND IN SYDNEY

This is THE 'WORST BAND IN SYDNEY".
This is the branding a band floating, well more like frolicking, shocking and entertaining, around Sydney is saying about themselves, and well, every person involved can quote it quite frankly.
Presenting Teenage Hand Models.
Always dressed outrageously and inappropriately but so far out it will constantly shock you. Though these guys have the costume department part covered too.
Each of their bright, dark and sick but smart personalities contribute to this whole, that surprisingly have many supports. I may say I also fall under this category of someone who yes will sing and cheers them on. Even if their last show at the Forresters Hotel they wore a sock and nothing else (No it wasn't on their foot). There was 20 something of them as it was a 'small show'.
These guys are great, musically killing it but their choices bring alot more to the table in how they use their talents to entertain. This movie was an answer to "Who are Teenage Hand Models?". It gives you a great idea into who they are, what they do and are about.
They are releasing on Saturday at Chippo Film Festival the next part of the story, a trailer to their short film. This also has no end date on when we will see it, though Kane Hancock was quoted "some time towards the end of the year, if we're still a band". This is the 'Teenage Hand Models' and the film has been directed, edited and brought to life by Scott Cotterell.
They have a yet to be announced special gig coming up toward the end of September so stay tuned for its invitation.
One of my favourite parts is the final words.. "SPECIAL THANKS: Chris and Lee Hancock for not aborting". Really, nice work.

Happy Friday Y'all,

DELAYED NOTICE OF HOLIDAY

John Tieu for The Wolves.
Welcome to HannahWake Collective
For some this may be your first viewing and
for others welcome back.
This post is what I'm going to call a 'Delayed Notice' of the holiday HWC is currently under taking.
Life always under takes curve balls to push you a small portion back. With HWC doing so well I decided to break with what you would call a 'keep you hanging' sort of approach and then to appear back without much warning.
I've redeveloped my appreciation for something thats going on around Australia and other parts of the world. A collection of creatives around me that are starting to shine on through and break through to produce some work that is being recognised at large and constantly bettering themselves. With thought on how HWC could keep growing we took a breather to regroup and have a 'calm before the storm'. There has been a big transition at HWC and in timing for move back to the big smoke permanently, why not
We have some cool content coming your way.
This is the warning that HWC will be back in force with a fresh perspective and a wider variety of content, if it's not your 'CUP OF TEA', drink elsewhere.
For those who like tea and most likely coffee, god even juice, water or a bottle of Captains Morgans, there is something for everyone.
We can't wait to deliver.
Until next time..
Enjoy Dope Bitchez,
Love Hannah.
