SURRY HILLS FESTIVAL

Gorgeous Surry Hills, home to the pretty side of Sydney's inner west, was host to their annual festival
only a few weeks back.
Arriving just in time to catch the afternoon sun and have a sneaky bevy before it set, I arrived to a newer dj just starting up, my high light for the day, was Alison Wonderland and mannn can she get a crowd on their feet quickly!
If you do in the future get the chance to see her just expect this her style is dope, she's a massive babe and expect hear an arrangement of hip hop, rap, beats, classics and cocktail of interesting tunes.
With something for everyone at Surry Hills Fest, from feathered head pieces, vintage clothing, bits and pieces, vegan cuisine, mexican food, juices, wine, beer, bands, dj's and a hell of a lot more, Surry Hills fest had it down pact. For a smaller festival, the end result, was a great success!
If you weren't there, i'd suggest to wait out the year and let 2013 be something to look forward to.

WARMING OF THE HOUSE

Warming of the house!
An exciting time for some, some a bit scary, but some others really see the opportunity in the occasion.
If your like myself, you appreciate a really nice home and appreciate being able to have your loved ones with you.

I recently moved, looking at the whole occasion as a big massive task. I took a step back and realised how much more moving into a new home is.
A new home is full opportunity, rearranging your things to suit yourself more in this day. Starting a fresh and feeling a little nervous but once your in there even though it's foreign it's still exciting.
You go through the house exploring your new jungle (the bigger the house the more surprises) seeing what you like more and sticking to it. What is the most exciting thing about the leap of faith to have a better home is having a kick start, bringing all your friends into your house, to enjoy it and make you feel that little bit more comfortable, to make it into a home.

I want to thank them, right here, thank you for coming and setting an awesome vibe in our home, we're glad we can share it.

So there it is,

Little Bastard's Melbourne Tram Jam

If you have read Creative Collective before then you may have come across these guys "'Little Bastard.
I've taken many photos before and they have come up here and there from previous posts, if your into the sydney music scene, then you can't miss these guys.
When they went to Melbourne the foreign city didn't scare them but led them to create this small recording which the 7 piece band jumps on a tram to jam out and show some lucky melbourne siders what they have. So check them out on their Facebook page here
Or you can see them playing the peat's ridge festival, to view the Peat's Ridge page to see who else is playing visit here
You wouldn't want to miss out!

HOUSE HANGS

Back when first moved into my new house, a small celebration took place, to christen the house.
Many drinks and other things later this was the pre 'World Bar' stage.
Sydney siders, you know what I'm talking about when you end up at world bar on a friday night with no intention to at 6pm those hours before. Drunkly getting dressed up, many photographs later and the camera stayed home whilst we all went out to play.
Sometimes pictures are best not taken and so the night is just enjoyed.
